and the layout was not in the center of screen ?

Im not sure what flashbuilder is, haxeui isnt modeled after it. :slight_smile:

So a few things there verticalAlign="middle doesnt mean anything haxeui, its center regardless of v/h align. Also i think you are expecting the align tag to affect a containers children, but thats not how it works, it tells haxeui how to align itself inside the parent, some examples: Builder - HaxeUI
